Delivering the necessary school supplies to help students succeed is a year-round process of raising funds and support. In order to raise funds, our affiliate SA YES proudly hosts an annual Taste of Education Dinner and Golf Classic that benefits all three branches. This year’s festivities proved to be another grand success for our organizations. The Taste of Education Dinner took place Sunday, March 31 and welcomed sponsors and supporters from across Austin, San Antonio and Corpus Christi. This evening of savory cuisine, provided by Silo Restaurant Group and the La Cantera Resort, and silent auctions made for an incredible event that gathered top businesses who value giving back to future generations of leaders.

After formally welcoming guests at the Taste of Education dinner, SA YES hosted the 22nd annual Golf Classic. This two-day tournament invited sponsors and supporters for a day on the green to give back. A total of 185 players attended and pledged their support for young learners in our community.

We are pleased to announce that this year’s Taste of Education and Golf Classic raised a total of $260,000, an increase of $50,000 from 2018! CC YES would like to thank everyone for their continued support. We are honored to work with people and businesses who value giving back to the community and can’t wait to put the funds raised from these two events towards our 2019 school kit distribution in Corpus Christi, Austin and San Antonio.
